Right Cars Vehicle Rental Ltd announce that it has commenced the rollout of its own in house, next generation, car rental management software, allowing the company to reduce its carbon footprint by offering a paperless car rental experience for its customers whilst. Mr Little, Co-founder and Company Chairman made the following statement "We are pleased that finally after almost a year in development we have commenced the rollout of the latest version of our own in-house car rental system, which will allow us to reduce the companies carbon footprint.
Every day, thousands of pages of rental agreements are printed and handed to customers, most of which end up in the waste bin. The new version of our software will allow customers to sign rental agreements electronically via tablets, with the completed and signed rental agreements emailed directly to the customers inbox. The reduction in the use of paper will reduce operating costs but more importantly, will help the environment, hopefully reducing the number of forests being cleared of carbon-capturing trees. Reducing the amount of paper used is one thing, but when you factor in the reduction in use of printers, photocopiers and ink, all of which use precious metals, plastic and energy, the benefits to the environment of our new car rental management software is a step in the right direction.

The reduction in the printing of car rental agreements is just one facet of the new version of our software, as it also lays down the foundation for many new services the company will be releasing in the next months, such as our mobile phone app, packed with features, some new to the car rental industry, which will improve customers car rental experience." The company plans to complete the rollout by the end of the year, to all branches under the Right Cars brand, providing a market advantage for the company in 2020.
