Deals of new vehicles have fallen drastically across Europe because of the lockdowns forced to check the spread of Covid-19. In the UK, new vehicle registrations in April dropped over 97% to levels last observed in 1946, while deals in France dropped 89%. In March, normal deals across Europe split. A few carmakers, including Volkswagen and Jaguar Land Rover, are restarting assembling, and a few experts propose vehicle purchasing could rise later in the year as suburbanites move away from open vehicle.
